Board of Trustees

At the May 13, 2025 Annual Meeting, the membership unanimously elected a slate of officers for the inaugural classes of 2026, 2027, and 2028 Board of Trustees as per the new set of by-laws. Please welcome the new board members for their staggered three-year terms. 

 


 

John Reissner, Chairperson
Magyar Bank
Class of 2026

John Reissner is First Vice President at Magyar Bank and oversees the Bank’s Marketing, Community Relations and Investor Relations programs. In addition, Mr. Reissner serves as President of the Magyar Bank Charitable Foundation.

A graduate of Elizabethtown College, Mr. Reissner joined Magyar in 2005 and has over 30 years of banking and financial services experience. An active member of the community, he serves on the Board of several community organizations and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Keep Middlesex Moving and is a past Chair for the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he serves on the Board of First Tee Raritan Valley and is a past President of Tinton Falls Little League and former Chair of the New Jersey Bankers Marketing Committee. Reissner joined KMM’s board in 2012 and in 2024 was elected to serve as chair.

 

 

 

Martin Schamberger, Vice-Chair
Middlesex College
Class of 2028

Martin Schamberger is a native of New Jersey having grown up in Bound Brook. Martin has long been active in the community serving both as a Special Police Officer and as a volunteer EMT. After attending Rutgers University, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where his career focused on healthcare training and education, planning operations and administration. After retiring he returned to New Jersey and served on the environmental health and safety staff of a specialty chemical and precious metals manufacturer. He completed his A.A. from Thomas Edison State University and maintains his certification as a Licensed Practical Nursing.

Martin later became an instructor for healthcare programs at Middlesex College and is now the Recruitment and Program Manager for Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning. At the College he helped establish KMM’s Tickets to School Program and continues facilitating transportation initiatives between the organization and the Middlesex College community. Having lived in Germany for six years where his primary means of transportation were walking, biking and mass transit, Martin is a strong advocate for these methods of transit to promote both personal and environmental health. He joined the Board of Trustees in October of 2020 and is currently the Vice-Chairperson.

 

 

   

Carol Byrnes, Secretary
Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA)
Class of 2026

Carol Byrnes began her career as an Elementary School Teacher in which she enjoyed many years of educating K-8 students. She then became the Marketing Manager for Middlesex County Transportation in 2007. While serving in that position, Carol took a lead role in coordination and implementation of two NJDHTS grants – the Middlesex County Comprehensive Traffic Safety Grant (CTSP) and a PSA “Don’t Drive Dangerously” Contest, which is open to all Middlesex County High School students. Both grants involved educating the public about traffic safety through presentations at schools, senior centers and public events. Byrnes joined the KMM board in 2017 and currently serves as the secretary.

 

 

   

Lina Llona, Treasurer
Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce
Class of 2027

Adelina “Lina” Llona is the President of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce as well as President and co-founder of the Central Jersey Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). After earning her degree in Commerce and Modern Language from Saint Francis University, Lina began a successful career as a sales and event manager at some of New Jersey’s most prestigious venues. Her expertise in this field brought her to prominent entertainment centers, hotels, country clubs, and even the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

After many years of active service on the Chamber’s board, she was named President in 2014. Lina creates connections between businesses from all industries throughout Middlesex County, constantly working to strengthen and grow the region’s economy. As a tourism professional, Lina also promotes Central Jersey as a destination to markets around the world through her efforts with the Convention and Visitors Bureau. In 2015, Lina joined the Keep Middlesex Moving Board of Trustees.  She was elected Secretary in 2020 and became Treasurer in 2023.

 

 

Christine D’Agostino
Middlesex County Magnet Schools
Class of 2028

Christine D’Agostino is a dynamic marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of leadership experience. She currently serves as Director of External Affairs for Middlesex County Magnet Schools, overseeing strategic communications, branding, and community engagement. Previously, she was Vice President of Operations at Carpenter Contractor Trust, where she built one of the most advanced marketing teams in the building trades industry. Christine also held marketing leadership roles at Kipcon Inc. and Lampe Berger USA, specializing in brand development and corporate strategy. Beyond her professional work, Christine is a dedicated civic leader, serving on several boards, including the Middlesex County Improvement Authority, Literacy NJ, Keep Middlesex Moving, and both the Middlesex County Regional and Edison Chamber of Commerce. She is also active in the Ukrainian community, promoting culture, language, and heritage through volunteer work and advocacy. Her accolades include being named one of the Top 50 Business Women in New Jersey, receiving the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Leadership Award, and Trademark Women of Distinction Honors Award.

 

 

Teri Jover
Borough of Highland Park
Class of 2027

Teri Jover is the Borough Administrator and Economic Development Director for the Borough of Highland Park, a proudly walkable community in Middlesex County. Teri has a broad portfolio, which includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Borough as well as advancing downtown redevelopment and a wide array of special projects and sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining the Borough in 2017, Teri was Deputy Executive Director at New Jersey Future, the state’s leading voice for smart growth and equitable, sustainable development. She is a Certified Professional Planner with a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Bloustein School at Rutgers.

 

 

Vijayant Rajvanshi
Middlesex County Office of Planning
Class of 2028

Vijayant Rajvanshi, AICP, is Middlesex County’s Planning Director. He also serves as the County’s Director of Network Operations Center and leads the DataCity (Smart Mobility Testing Ground) project, focusing on integrating emerging transportation technologies into existing and future corridors. In this role he is also responsible for guiding the design and development of the County’s state-of-the-art Network Operations Center at the Health and Life Sciences Exchange (HELIX) campus in New Brunswick.

Vijayant is a dynamic and results-driven transportation planning leader with 20+ years of experience and a proven track record of driving organizational growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing large-scale planning initiatives.

 

 

Brittany Wooden
Saint Peter’s Healthcare System
Class of 2026

Brittany Wooden is a dedicated and innovative equity leader, passionate about providing access and opportunities to the community as the Executive Director of Community Outreach and Chief Diversity Officer at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System. She has led impactful initiatives, including designing an implicit bias certification program for healthcare professionals and partners, ensuring equity and inclusion are woven into care and community engagement. Brittany’s unwavering commitment to fostering spaces of belonging drives her mission to bridge gaps and uplift marginalized voices. She is excited to continue this work as a member of the Keep Middlesex Moving board, advancing safe, equitable, and sustainable transportation options across the county. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Rutgers University with a master’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations, Brittany is currently pursuing her doctorate at Kean University. She continues to educate, empower, and transform communities through data-driven strategies and innovative equity programming.

 

 

Robert Zuckerman
Township of East Brunswick

Jasmine Lawrence on behalf of David Behrend (ex officio)
North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA)

Jasmine is a Principal Planner at the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority. She oversees the Transportation Management Association (TMA) program and works on other mobility and regional planning initiatives such as the NJTPA’s Complete Streets Demonstration Library, to support the broader use of tactical urbanism. She has experience in municipal and county planning, landscape design, master planning, and redevelopment studies. Jasmine also teaches an urban planning and design course to undergraduate students at Rutgers. She holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in urban planning and design, both from Rutgers. Additionally, she has her LEED Green Associate certification and a certificate in community sustainability.
